If you are living in Thailand and want to have a bank account in Thailand. This is what you need to have;
1. Passport
2. Tourist Visa or Work Permit
3. Thai address
4. Thai person who can be your witness, it could be your wife or friends.
However, please check with the bank, because some banks, they only accept work permit. The one that I got for my husband is KBank (Green color). Bangkok bank, you need to have work permit to be able to have an account with them.
